Directions :
Following are the conditions for drawing a list of suitable candidates to be called for interview after a written test for recruitment is conducted for supervisory level persons for a reputed company providing software and services. The candidate must:
A. be holding a degree in basic science with 60% or above or an engineering degree with 45% and above marks.
B. have passed the written examination with 65% or above marks.
C. be in the age range of 24 years to 30 years as on 15t April, 1997.
D. have experience in a computer company for a minimum period of 3 years after having obtained diploma in Computers with 60% or above marks.
E. be presently drawing a monthly salary of Rs 8,000 and above.

In case of the applicant, who satisfies all other criteria except.
I. at A above, be referred to the Manager (Recruitment)
II. at B above, but has more than 75% marks in M.Sc. or an engineering degree, be referred to the Assistant General Manager (AGM)
III. at Cabove, be referred to the General Manager (GM).
Based on these criteria and information provided below you have to decide the suitable course of action in each case. you are not to assume anything extra. If the data provided is not adequate to decide the given course of action, your answer will be data inadequate’. The cases are given to you as on 1st April 1997.

1. Niranjan Singh did his diploma in Computers at the age of 22 years after completing his B.Sc. Immediately after completing his diploma he got a job in a computer company and is employed for last 4 years with a salary of Rs 10,500. He has got more than 65% marks in all examinations including the written examination.

Ans.E The candidate Niranjan Singh is a science graduate and qualified all his exams with 65% marks. Hence, he satisfies conditions (a) and (b). It is given that he has been working in a computer firmafter completion of his diploma at the age of 22 years, hence condition (c)
(d) are fulfilled. Condition (e) is also satisfied. Since all the conditions are fulfilled, hence the candidate should
be called for interview.

2. Kamalnath has been working in a computer company for last 6 years after completing his diploma in Computers with 62% marks. He has completed 28 years of age in Sept. 1995.
